Snickerdoodles

1 cup soft shortening
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 3/4 cup flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. cinnamon

Mix sugar, shortening, and eggs. Add and stir in baking soda, salt, flour and cream of tartar. roll into little balls. Place on greased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
